Dilemma of the Off-Workers

Some people say the job market is improving. Others say not so much. But, whatever the state of the economy there's always the possibility of experiencing the traumatic event of being given the axe.

Many experts would say to allow yourself to "freak out!". "Validate your feelings!", they said. Quit denying reality, allow yourselves to vent, normalize your life as you were not laid off, but you just got a new job i.e. finding a job.

Among the normal activities day in day out are calculating your cash position for you to know how far can you go before you are completely broke. Insufficient severance, savings, and saving any access to liquid assets so the resources can be put to greater use in the future, are the main worries that goes around in your head almost all the time.
Being off work may also trigger the bad perception of the people around you. Their actions followed through. Friends and acquaintances start keeping distances from you. They feared that you might ask for favours that will never be returned in the future. The very least they expected from you is asking for help in finding jobs. The pain of being out of work had just been amplified with loneliness and devoid of company.
